NIITEK Announces Appointment of New President
NIITEK, Inc., part of the Chemring Group, PLC, the premier provider of Countermine Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Juan A. Navarro to serve as President of the Company. Juan Navarro, most recently Executive Vice President and General Manager, NIITEK, succeeds Fred Clodfelter, who will continue with the company in an advisory role as company Founder.
Navarro joined the company in 2006 as its Chief Operating Officer and has been instrumental in guiding NIITEK from a startup R&D company, to a leading developer and producer of quality GPR sensor technologies.
Prior to joining NIITEK, Navarro was the Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer of SER Solutions, a software company in Sterling, Virginia. Navarro also spent 12 years at Xerox in various Senior Management positions. He brings over 30 years of technology and senior management expertise to NIITEK. Navarro has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
