As a Software Process Lead (SPL) at NIITEK you will be responsible for evaluating and supporting software processes to support the growth of NIITEK's software group through CMMI levels 2 and 3, in addition to embedded software tasks. This is an opportunity for a top performer to choose from a wide range of future responsibilities and growth in this company. We are looking for someone who will expertly and enthusiastically:
Analyze the current processes and recommend changes to meet CMMI levels 2 and 3.
Act as an internal auditor against process, and champion new or process revisions when necessary.
Facilitate the complete and thorough documentation of NIITEK’s software processes for planning, developing, testing and maintaining software on the HMDS and GSTAMIDS that are clear enough to show CMMI level 2 maturity.
Take a lead in making those documents easy to tailor to other programs at various levels of formality, from production contracts to R&D efforts.

The ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD level clearance is REQUIRED to be considered for this position. Requires US Citizenship and you will be subject to a government security investigation.
Excellent knowledge of CMMI levels 2 and 3
Basic knowledge of digital signal processing, device drivers, and/or interfaces to non-computer devices
Real-time or embedded development experience using C and C++ is strongly preferred.
Experience in a high-maturity (CMMI level 3 or above) software environment and with embedded software development
Experience guiding a team through transition previously is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
2+ years experience or Master of Science degree A STRONG PLUS!
